No One Left Behind: Crisis Relief for Afghanistan Village Voice Since the withdrawal of American Troops in Afghanistan, a humanitarian crisis has developed as the Taliban takes control over most of the country. Hundreds of thousands of Afghans are being subjected to violence and displacement every passing day, and with destruction of infrastructure, health care facilities, public services and schools, it is becoming increasing unsafe for any Afghan citizen that was an ally to U.S. military over the past 20 years, along with their families. These people are looking for a way out of the fear and persecution, and as the world watches Afghanistan, so many of us are looking for ways to help. The Village Voice is passionate about doing what we can to support an organization that has a long standing history of helping those men and women that were so dedicated to serving alongside the US military. This is an organization that has a proven track record of not only helping the alley citizens coming out of Afghanistan, but also aiding the ones that are unable to leave by providing much needed resources. 100% of the proceeds will be given to No One Left behind, a charity organization dedicated to ensuring that America keeps its promise to our interpreters from Iraq and Afghanistan. Help The Boys in the Band raise support for The SAM Foundation info@thealabamatribute.com It is a genuine privilege to partner with The SAM Foundation again for our third annual Alabama tribute show here in my hometown of Fort Payne, AL. The work that The SAM Foundation is putting forth to prevent suicide through education, and the destigmatization of mental health issues is much needed and appreciated. As someone who has personally struggled with anxiety and depression, since adolescence, it is a cause close to my heart. I believe that feeling free to talk about mental health, especially for those who may have been taught to hide feelings and emotions, is a major step toward preventing suicide. My grandfather, Paul Crow, started what became the Randy Owen Celebrity Golf Classic in the early 1980s, and that event raised over $1M for abused, abandoned, and neglected young people in Alabama. It was a cause important to him, and he generously offered his support for many years. In my mind I’m following in his footsteps, in a small way, to support a cause close to me. Not to mention it is a huge honor to me that our event pays tribute to my other heroes, our hometown boys, Alabama. Roll on! - Michael Weatherly Boys in the Band -

MeloHope1 melodygracelove4life Melody Grace Engberg was a victim of assault by her biological father at 4 months old in 2010. While mom was at work. Despite the odds and significant brain damaged that left her blind, with seizures, feeding tube, unable to walk, unable to talk, and more. We pray and hope for a better future for her and kids like her. This campaign helps support Melody and other families going through similar situations. Please donate, share, and support.
