Every war is a war against children and right now there is no safe place in Ukraine. Children in Eastern Ukraine have already endured shelling and violence for the last eight years. Many have been displaced from their homes. Airstrikes and explosions have resulted in damaged essential services such as schools and hospitals. Over one million people have crossed the borders from Ukraine into neighboring countries since the 24th of February. The impact of conflict on children is devastating.
